2011 Recruitment of Assistant Environment Engineers, Junior Environment Engineers and Scientific Assistants in Punjab Pollution Control Board

Punjab Pollution Control Board invites online applications for the post of Assistant Environment Engineers, Junior Environment Engineers and Scientific Assistants. Eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed online format available on website http://www.thapar.edu/. Candidates must submit online application from June 27, 2011 to July 18, 2011.

Age Limit: 18 – 37 Years

1. Name of Post: Assistant Environment Engineer

No of Posts: 35 posts

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100+ grade pay Rs.5400

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have Degree in Civil / Chemical / Environmental Engineering, in first division from a recognized University or Institution. Candidate must have undergone a computer course of six months duration from a reputed institute.

2. Name of Post: Junior Environment Engineer

No of Posts: 7 posts

Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800+ grade pay Rs.3800

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have done at least 1st class in three years Diploma in Civil / Environmental or Chemical Engineering from a recognized University / Institution. Candidate must have undergone a computer course of six months duration from a reputed institute.

3. Name of Post: Scientific Assistant

No of Posts: 9 Posts

Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800+ grade pay Rs.3200

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have done at least Candidate must have done at least 1st class in three years Diploma in Civil / Environmental or Chemical Engineering from a recognized University / Institution. Candidate must have undergone a computer course of six months duration from a reputed institute.. Candidate must have done minimum of six months computer course from a reputed institute

Application Fee: Rs.500 for General Candidates and Rs.125 for SC/ST candidates.

Mode of Payment: Application fee should be deposited through a bank Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “Coordinator, Entrance Test for PPCB” payable at Patiala.

How to Apply: Candidate must fill the form online through the website http://www.thapar.edu/ and get print out the application form. Send the application form and paste a latest photograph and send it to Coordinator, Entrance Test for PPCB, Thapar University, Patiala – 147004, along with DD of requisite amount and two additional photographs

Last Date to Apply: 18-07-2011

General Instructions: Entrance test will be conducted at Patiala only. Duration of test will be of 2 hours.
